I run after, feed, bathe, clothe, and basicaly care for now 3 ums. Any one who does not think that is a work out.. is nutters. Only one is mine.

I also walk a lot, Dance around the house a bunch.. do Beldi dancing as an work out routine.... go horseback riding when I can as well as train and exercise the horses. ( now that is hard work!) and swim.

Sex on occasion. ( the fun work out)

For the first time in.. ok.. well ever I am in a house that does not run the AC. So I am basicaly sweating the weight off of me. Not to mention change of life.. and less.. or different stress levels. No relationship stress... but everything else stress. ( which is easier to deal with)

In the last month I have lost almost 10 lbs. ~ So I am happy about that. Male roomie is happy that I am running around in booty shorts and tank tops trying to keep cool. All the ums bike.. so I am pondering getting one so we can all ride to the beach instead of walking.

Gwyn,
Sweating her ass off... literialy.

I'm having to change my lifestyle recently, thanks to the onset of type II diabetes. I've had to cut as many carbs out of my diet as possible: primarily flour, potatoes, and rice. I've just joined a gym, and I've been bicycling on my lunch hour... it's a long road back, since I've almost hit 280 pounds. (at 6'2", that's getting into health complications territory) but in the long run it will be worthwhile, just to avoid the possible strokes, blindness and amputated limbs. (not very sexy, that.)

Not nearly enough. When I do manage to motivate, I usually walk. Next weekend, I get to help my sister move. That should burn something.

Most of my life, I had very physical sorts of jobs.  A few years running equipment added some pounds, and this last year, driving a desk, hasn't helped at all.  I joined a gym, but rarely went, and cancelled that.  I feel the difference in my stamina when I start doing something heavy around the house though, and need to find a good, regular cardio-workout I'll stick with.

I ride my stationary bike... not regularly though. But my best exercise is a bad memory and a 3000 square foot house. Who needs a stair stepper when you've got that?

Heretic, I used to feel like that too, but I trained my mind to think about how good I'll feel when I get home from the gym and shower.
Also, it's a nice surprise to see different women at the gym each time! (That's a bonus!)
It really feels good after about 3 or 4 months of working out and feeling strong and losing about 15 pounds or so!

I do weight workouts 5-6 days a week alternating upper and lower body.  I try to get some cardio everyday, either golf, treadmill, yard work or walking.  I can't do a lot at a time due to arthritis and my hip replacement.

I also eat the South Beach way, hoping to prevent diabetes and heart disease.

I've lost the weight, now I'm actually using weights to tone up.  And it's really working.  I'm very proud of myself.

Intervals on a stationary bike when I'm in the city; on an actual bike when I'm outside of it.

Free weights.

Martial arts.

Usually 4-5 times a week, in some combination, sometimes more.

Oh, and sometimes I'll fast for a day or two.
Like yesterday, nothing to eat just fruit juice and water to drink.

I lift 16oz of beer....

seriously, I do nothing. I have a pilates ball I cant keep balanced on, a bike that has been ridden maybe 3 times(it's been so long that the tires have gone flat). I need a personal trainer to kick my ass into a routine of some sort.  Even as I sit and bitch at myself about my squishy tummy, I just cant get myself to self-motivate *sigh*

Take weight or core classes at the gym and mindlessly follow whatever the gym teacher tells me, bike around beautiful areas for leisure and also use bike or walk for quick trips to close places instead of using my car.  Eat in moderation, eat foods that are raw or ones with no preservatives and have only mono or polyunsaturated fats, and try to do other things to relieve stress besides eat.  Try to not stress myself and have a nice peaceful relaxing life to avoid the stress hormone that will make me pack on pounds.
