yeah, i didn't buy it. no pun intended.
i can easily fall in love emotionally to women, but can't imagine a physical relationship without my Mate in the picture.

Kinsey's scale of bisexuality, 0-6, placed purely heterosexual at one end, purely homosexual at the other, and then left all that lovely space, in between. I suppose right down the middle would be that 50-50.
Some people are very insistent about the absolute of categories - many still insist that you're either gay or straight, and that bisexuality is just fence-sitting. Also, for some reason, whichever you claim to be, if you show any little evidence of being the other - you are! You're not really straight/You're not really gay. You're just in denial.
Of course, not so long ago, many people in the scene still insisted that you're either dominant or submissive, top or bottom. And, any evidence that a self-proclaimed dominant has a submissive twitch in their body, is proof that they're really a submissive. Vice-versa isn't so much "you're not really a submissive; you're a dominant," it's more just, "you're not a real submissive."
But then came the new 'what you have to be.' That version goes, everyone is bisexual, everyone is part dominant, part submissive. Right, so now you all have your orders - have at it!
Meanwhile, back on the human discover channel, I suspect it's far more common for people to have the exact and individual preferences many are mentioning here - for example, you might fantasize about the same sex, but only actually have sex with the opposite sex; you might have casual sex with the opposite sex, but only ever a primary romantic relationship with the same sex. Or, there may be only certain individuals, for whom your usual preferences just seem to fly out the window.
