I cannot believe my two all-time favorite bad movies have not yet been mentioned. I spent many a night as a deranged youth watching these flicks under the influence of an adult beverage or two: The Day of the Triffids A story about how a type of large, carniverous plant walks about the Earth, stunning and consuming the human population. All attempts at eradicating it fail. As the beleagured human population catches its last breath, the scientist-hero finds a last gasp solution that is so simple, it was overlooked... almost to the annihilation of mankind. Attack of the Killer Tomatoes Yet another plant, this time a jolly red fruit, goes on a binge destroying mankind. How will the humans defeat this seemingly innocent hoard? Will you ever look at a tomato the same way again? While these may never supplant The Rocky Horror Picture Show as cult classics, they are entertaining... under the proper influence. Enjoy!
