A cop pulls over a guy and his friend. When he asks "do you know why I pulled you over?" the driver responds, of course, "I don't know." The officer backhands the driver through the open window, and as both men stare back in shocked silence, he says "you were going over 90mph, and weaving through traffic! Don't give me that 'I don't know' crap!"
He takes the driver's lisence and registration back to his cruiser to run a check, and he returns after a couple of minutes, but approaches the car from the passenger's side. When he reaches the window, he reaches in without a word, and backhands the passanger. After a moment, the stunned man blurts out "what did you do that for?" The officer replies, "that was a favor to your friend. Now he won't have to listen to you say 'I wish he'd have tried that on me' for the next six hours."
