I often wonder what prompts the things I receive in My mailbox. I find Myself neither raving beauty, nor everyone's dream Domme. It perplexes Me as to why they write. I am far from the perfect vision, yet they come. Let's talk about the drive that makes them do this.

You look pretty amazing to me but then photographs can make someone look a lot better than they do in the flesh. Everyone has a different motivation. These are some of the ones I have come across. 1 Finding the one to end their days with. 2 Someone to add spice/excitement to their lives. 3 Kinky sex which they can not get in everyday life. 4 An easier life being a kept man. 5 Getting their fetishes met. 6 A need to be needed. 7 Knowing they are a shit and wanting someone to change them. 8 A free session or two to find out what it's all about. 9 Wanting someone to spend their money on. 10 Someone to love them. I could go on and on but there is really no point. If people are honest it will be on their profile. I've been treated like shit by lots and lots of men. They come into the lifestyle to get their needs met very few are actually interested in my needs.

Ok, beyond my feelings as to your appearance; here's why they email you. 1: You have boobs. 2. You list yourself as female. 3. You have boobs. Then there's always the off chance that someone read your profile and your posts and really decided that you might be what they are looking for and that they might make you happy. Why do people on the other side of the world write asking to serve me? Desperation and fantasy fulfillment, I think. I often wonder the same thing. Sometimes I think it has to be the same compliments they send to every woman whose profile shows up on their screen, but I prefer to believe there's something they truly find appealing. It's much better for my ego to give them the benefit of the doubt that there is something sincere, even if it's obvious they didn't read the entire profile.

I could reiterate every word you said in your post.... But instead of wondering.. I ask. They say hello, I ask "What prompted you to write, BESIDES the fact that I'm a dominant female" The HNGs don't have an answer and the other one or three begin conversation. So, when they write you, ask them why... and if they think you're fishing for compliments, you can just direct them to this thread to show them that we on the boards can give you that when you need it! You're thinking a lot today, ar'n'cha? [;)] Who knows why people write...or don't. I get very little mail. The amount of mail I got dropped drastically when I changed from Mistress to Master. So, obviously the screen name is important. I also started to get less mail when I started talking about spirituality rather than barking orders and describing fetishes, so apparently the perception that we'll oblige their fetishes and fantasies is a factor. I also get more mail depending on the picture I have as the opening picture. The uniform gets little...and what it does get is usually from lesbian or bi women (not that I'm complaining...just stating a fact). So, those are some of my possibilities. Master Fire
