First of all, I want to thank those malicious and good people who voted on my Evil versus good poll. Unfortunately the number of voters was relatively low, which necessitates creative interpretation of the results.

Switches and natural slaves appear to be all good. (One aberrant natural slave, but my hypothesis is that she or he either was confused, or seriously messed up by her or his life experiences.)

One in four dom(me)s and submissives is malicious. (Yes, that is not what the poll says; this is the creative interpretation bit.) It is a lower fraction than I feared, but nevertheless it is a high fraction. I recognize that there is value in having malicious people among us, as it keeps the good people on their toes and diligently so.

These results above concur with what I would expect from my model of the composition of the mind.

I was rather shocked that three in four slaves that classify themselves as being not natural slaves are malicious. Again, the number of voters in this category was very low, so it may not represent reality, but it is all I have to go on. I wonder whether these non-natural slaves have been messed up by their life experiences, or whether there is another explanation for their maliciousness. (Please c-mail me on the other side if you are one of them.)

As for the average human, I assume that they have a similarly high potential for being malicious.

Now for my questions:

With such a high proportion of malicious people, is Creation a failure?

In the eternal balance between good and evil, how many of the malicious people will join the Creator and how many will join Satan? (I say balance, not battle, for a battle between good and evil can only result in an impasse or even in the annihilation of Creation.)

Same question for the good people: how many will be inclined to join Satan? (Perhaps I should start another poll?)

I never saw the first poll...at least I don't recall it.

How can creation be a failure? We are all here are we not?

How does anyone truly know the difference between good and evil? What if people are trying to be good and in reality it is evil?
Do we go by the ageless book that someone, somewhere wrote? That person was just a someone.
Do we go by what we have been taught, knowing it may be all wrong? Our gut instinct? What are the parameters we should go by to define good versus evil?

Are we assuming there is a creator and a satan? In some religions they believe the two are the same. Other religions brothers.
There are way too many unanswered questions.

I do think that the polls should not be in the random stupidity section. They should have a separate forum. I poll for scientific reasons and the random stupity section is detrimental to them reaching critical mass. Worse, when my fat poll reached critical mass with about 140 votes, it was removed without an advance warning to me so that I could save the data. (I got at least one complaint about that from a participant in the fat poll.)

Also, each vote in a poll ought to be seen as a comment, but it is not, causing the polls to unwarrantedly sink in the forum. That is a major omission in CM forum policy.

Creation has been rebooted at least twice for reason of evil running rampant, with few survivors. Remember the Deluge? It is in all world mythologies.

I do. Switches apparently do, or at least some of them. Natural slaves do. Dominants and submissives are more handicapped in this regard, though 75 per cent of them label themselves as good and 25 per cent label themselves as malicious - so they must have some method to classify themselves.

That may happen. Evil may also happen as a consequence of inaction. I am not saying that evil or being malicious does not have value, for it obviously does. It is what drives the evolution of civilization. And accidents do happen.

The bible is very much a mutilated history book trying to be politically correct. It applies to an earlier time, and has ever since been out of date and often incomprehensible.

I and natural slaves can go by our gut instincts as we are born with the innate ability. Those who need to be taught lack that innate ability.

The principle is simple: anything that hurts another being or another thing unnecessarily is evil; it is malicious when this occurs with intent.

They are both right. If not for Satan Creation would not exist. The various incarnate gods did exist and the Creator and Satan are two of them; world mythology is quite clear about that.

As the polls here have only ten options, any other choices such as "neutral good" may be mentioned in the comments, or cannot be mentioned if one wishes to remain anonymus.
