Not sure how many people here know who this guy is... but he is the only man I would ever say that I hate...
from the looks of things though, he might (finally) be getting his comeuppins.. and hopefully will no longer be coming up with frivilous lawsuits to try to harm video game companies

It does sound like this person is disturbed, which means that being disbarred probably won't stop him from continuing to file nuisance suits.... getting someone excluded from the court system entirely could take much longer.

Hes not disturbed, hes an out and out moron, and a rabid one at that.... I dont have the patience to pull up all the shenanigans hes done, so just google Jack Thompson if you are interested... the main reason I and oh so many others want him disbarred is because as is, he uses his "posistion" as a "first amendment lawyer" to pull all sorts of shit... without that he wouldn't be able to as easily raise funds to make himself a problem

I know his history, and that is why I used the term disturbed specifically in its original sense... he has been shown to not be legally insane, but he is clearly agitated and just the sort to keep on filing away with or without a bar license.

Your full story link doesn't seem to work. I've heard of him; he's a clown that's been using the whole Rockstar games controversy for publicity. I'm not much of a gamer, but I did actually enjoy all the Grand Theft Auto games. Who doesn't like animated simulations where you can blow up police cars with tanks, and go on shooting sprees in a shopping mall? That's just good, clean entertainment for the whole family.

The busy bodies of the world with their holier than thou attitudes are usually the most depraved, immoral people in my experience.

true enough, my hope is more to cut down on the number of whatever followers he might have listening to his bullshit rhetoric than anything else.... To me he represents the bigggest enemy of free speech, that bullshit of I can say what I want, but dont you dare try to argue with me or do anything I dont like
