Consider this maybe a rant, or perhaps a better word, a rage. Rant doesn't really do it justice. I'm not targeting anyone here. Let's say that up front. It's more a place to vent in the off chance that one of the afflicted might wander by.
Over the years I've seen a lot, good and bad, but the bad is often the same kind of thing, over and over. My perspective isn't unique. I've just seen it too often. So here goes.
If you can only set someone up to fail, the failure isn't theirs. It's yours. Fix Yourself.
If you look for reasons to punish rather than reasons to enjoy your submissive, the problem isn't theirs. It's yours. Fix Yourself.
If you demand trust, but cannot give it, the problem is yours, not theirs. Fix Yourself.
If you demand trust period rather than demonstrating that you're trustworthy, the problem belongs to no one else. It's yours. Fix Yourself.
If you think someone else can make you happy, and yet are never pleased, the problem is yours, not theirs. Fix Yourself.
If everyone else is always at fault, that fault is probably yours about half the time. Fix Yourself.
If your style is to manipulate, and you can't understand why relationships always end badly, the problem is yours, not theirs. Fix Yourself.
If you have to keep someone by intimidation and fear, you've already lost what was most important. The problem isn't theirs, it's yours. Fix Yourself.
If you hide insecurity with anger and rage, the problem is yours. Fix yourself.
If you're afraid to admit sometimes that you don't know, have to control every situation, feel that you have to prove anything to anyone other than the one who submits to you, the problem is yours. Fix yourself.
If you're not healthy for someone, understand it's your problem, not theirs, and Fix Yourself.
If you make the same bad choices time after time in partners and relationships, the problem is yours, not theirs. Fix Yourself.
If you're controlling another and can't or won't control yourself, the problems aren't theirs. They are yours. Fix yourself.
If you're fucking wrong and can neither see it nor admit it, the problem is yours, Fix Yourself.
