You know I remember the last two weeks of my senior year in high school. We were all warned specifically not to think we could get away with breaking rules. If you did, you were suspended and not allowed to take your finals. Of course there were a few morons that ignored it and got to spend another semester in high school.

Which appears to be what happened here...ignoring warnings about pranks, and escalating the situation when the school backed up their promise with a 1 day suspension that didn't affect anything else. No one went to jail for reading 1984.

I don't get the whole point of the post, the article felt like a small town report of some slightly unruly seniors. No one got hurt.

geez, i wonder what they would have done to my cousin who "suggested" a senior prank of putting 1000 goldfish in the school swimming pool, let alone the idiots who carried it out. PM

PM reminded me of a prank I did in school with a friend of mie (off-topic as hell) during the student body elections, we managed to get a Goldfish nominated, he won the vote, but the school was racist against fishes, so he didnt get to be prez (hed have made a good one too)

One senior class of my Gymnasium managed to herd a whole sheep flock into our school, and another one filled the whole entryhall with papercups full of water. However, in German Gymnasiums those pranks are expected, and more or less sanctioned, on the last day of school for the seniors. The objective being, to get a day without lessons for all pupils in a as creative way as possible.
