Status: offline 		Well am retired miltary of 32 years active duty, have never had any faccial hair, always clean shaven, however do have a nice hairy chest

Status: offline 		Back in the early seventies when I was reporting in SouthEast Asia, I grew a neatly trimmed beard.  The idea was that being a young white man in that area I didn't want to be mistaken as a soldier.  After a bit, I discovered with my facial structure and build, I could be mistaken as a Sikh if I wore a turban which was an even more "neutral" guise.  I found I enjoyed the beard and have worn it continually since then even though I think I probably couldn't remember how to tie a turban anymore
