Ok, I'm sure this has come up before but my "search" revealed nothing.

Recently my entire household joined Second Life.

I play JodiAnn Saphir and recently joined the Velvet Thorn group there.

Wondering if others are around and if anyone else on a Mac gets crazy lag like I do.

I have no direct experience germane to your question.

However, I'm thinking this could be the answer to the "Online Service Subs" question! Put them to work in your Second Life thingy!

I am also on second life though I rarely go there. I had a major lag issue but a major ram upgrade improved the performance. Sometimes if there are alot of people or items in one area, the system will slow down. Hope that helpes you.

Hhmmm.... yeah the weird thing is the WoW works best on my computer and the guys' computers are lagging.

I'm finding it an interesting way to do AB stuff with my husband and furry things with my slave -- putting a bit of image with the ideas so to speak.

And I'm JodiAnn Saphir in SL in case anyone wishes to know.

Sometimes you get more lag if you're wearing things that run scripts (Ex: jewelry with "bling" or walk overrides) or if there are sculpted prims in use. More and more people are switching to sculpties to help control prim counts so expect more time for stuff to rez when you first TP into a zone.

Yes I am on there as Lashra Slade give me a shout Tammyjo if you want to get together or need help. I belong to the Rising Phoenix Group and a few others which are really good. My sub plays with me and we really enjoy it.
