this is why i won't watch chitti chitti bang bang and mary poppins and wizard of oz and all those other old movies. if i watched them once........

but i do still love the popcorn we had with them...

Remember 'Dark Shadows'?
Remember the smell of waking up to coffee and bacon and eggs on a wood cookstove with birch wood in it?
Remember standing in gramas pantry with the fresh pies and whatnot for time out of mind and smelling and almost eating that smell?
Remember when a nickle for candy at the corner grocery store was a buying spree? And a life altering decision?
Remember cruising all night, dairyland to the rootbeer stand for two bucks gas (including a quart of oil, usually)?
