Saw these the other day- basically a pair of latex panties, but on the inside there's a small pad covered with rounded bumps that sits over the clit. It's meant for long term wear and is completely passive, no vibrator or anything along that line. I'm tempted to get a pair for my sub but it looks suspiciously like something that would end up in my "looked like a good idea but just didn't work" collection. Does anyone have any practical 'hands on' experience with these?

Uh huh. Latex worn for more than a few hours in a moist location has a great potential for rashes and skin chafing.

Sad to say, things are hectic enough these days that a few hours counts as long term! Either way, duration is easily controllable. Since this toy is basically passive I was more concerned with effectiveness.

Well over a decade ago I heard of something called a "grope suit". I have tried and tried to find out about it on the web, but nothing is there about it.

Supposedly it had panties like you describe, tight and designed so that every movement causes stimulation. There was also a bra designed to similarly stimulate the breasts.

It was said that Women would actually pass out if they wore it too long. Gawd, do you have any idea what I would do to see something like that happen ?

It may all have been bullshit as I have never seen one. But the concept is burned into my brain like with acetylene.

I have to admit, I'm a bit disappointed with the lack of substantial feedback. Too many watchers and not enough doers. Rather than add to the 'lookeeloo' problem I've decided to go ahead and order a pair to take them for a test drive. Well- have my sub take them for a test drive. We'll see how it goes. Incidentally, the 'grope suit' was mentioned in The Joy Of Sex back in the '70s (one of the authors has since admitted that they made it up). As far as the fainting goes, I have been present for the 'little death'. Frankly it's scary as hell the first time and an annoyance subsequently.

I think the physical and mental stimulation of being placed in the panties by her dom will do wonders. Her own lubrication should be sufficient to prevent any chafing, if not add any latex safe lube. For the price invested, I think you should have a fun time.

It's been a while, but finally got around to this.
Tried these out, and a few observations:
1. Fit is key. My sub is petite (size 0 or 2), so finding the right size was a real problem. Too loose is a waste of time, and the problems with too tight (though I didn't have to deal with that) are obvious. They stretch somewhat but this is taken into account in the sizing. Get out a measuring tape, take a hip measurement, and get as close as you can. It isn't very romantic but it saves a lot of time.
2. As someone noted above, not really practical for much over an hour or two and indoors only in hot weather. Think over dinner not over the weekend.
As to how well they work- your mileage may vary, but overall I'd say the effect is fairly subtle. On their own the 'stimulation' only works with movement and is not dramatic. As my sub put it "you definitely know that there's something THERE". Walking around (stairs in particular) definitely has an impact but we aren't talking buckling knees here. If your sub likes a fair amount of pressure with a vibrator these are very, very effective at holding clitoral vibes firmly 'on target'. A nice leisurely walk around the park followed by dropping in your favorite buzzing toy when you get home can make for a very rewarding evening.
