The 1st WTC bombing is probably not the best example, either, as the culprits have been caught, put on trial, and imprisoned with due process and equal protection of the law, which makes you wonder why Bush isn't able to do the same thing with the 9/11 planners and attackers, and needs to violate the law himself.

Torture is a crime.

Spying on people without a warrant is a crime.
