M4Fwbelt -> Why do some ruin the experience for others? (5/26/2008 4:29:30 AM)

The other day I arranged a meet with someone I never sessioned with before and got a big surprise.  We met in a motel room and I started to give her a massage.  After about a half an hour of the anticipated two hour get to know you session I was told to shower and come back lay on the bed dripping wet.  She went out to her car to get her stuff.  I complied with her directions...after about 20 minutes I got up and looked out and she was gone.  There was no indication of dissatisfaction but later in an email she explained that I was not the right one for her.  Well, she took my money for the two hour training session and left me after half an hour.  Is this fair?

No.  But it does happen.

Well, that would be a professional I would then never use again and if asked or if you "rate the business" I'd give it a negative review.

If she wasn't a professional, then you were robbed and you might want to contact the police. Regardless of what they may or may not think about your sexuality, it would still be a crime.

If you want to pay for a session, make sure that you see a reputable professional dominant.  You can check websites like Max Fisch for reviews and such.

If you want to establish a personal relationship with a lifestyle dominant, don't meet them in hotel rooms and pay for "getting to know you training sessions".   Meet for coffee, meet for dinner, go for a walk in the park, go to a movie - normal "getting to know you" activities.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Why do some ruin the experience for others? (5/26/2008 7:24:36 AM)

I always screened my clients before ever getting to the play area, and if there was not a match, we didn't have a session.   I had a friend actually stop the scene that wasn't working and refund half the money.

If this person was not a pro, look at Ms Sonnet's post.

Nope. i'd get in touch with her again under a different name/email/phone # to set up another meeting, and get my money back [:@]

I'm in the wrong profession.  I play for free.

Don"t mix money and BDSM, you are just asking to be robbed and it would not even be as special if you have to pay the person.

You were robbed yes, maybe better to visit a Pro Domme at her establishment instead, ditch the hotels.

I'm actually quite surprised she bothered to email you. You've paid the tuition, it's up to you to learn the lesson.

A lot of people will not agree with me but my motto is don't play, don't session find someone that you can commit to whole heartedly who will commit to you.
The type of relationship doesn't matter it's the commitment that does.
Ask yourself the question why is someone asking for money and why are you prepared to pay it?
If it's because you can't commit then fine make sure that you find someone who will earn what they are asking for.
Do you pay your dentist up front or after they have done what was required?

You took the words right out of my mouth.  These things have absolutely nothing to do with BDSM and everything to do with getting taken advantage of someone who uses others.  If she wasn't doing this in the kink community, she would be running the exact same scam on guys from vanilla nightclubs; and probably is.

orfunboi -> RE: Why do some ruin the experience for others? (5/26/2008 1:27:16 PM)

While it really sucks to get ripped off, it happens. It doesn't have anything to do with BDSM or Pro Dommes.

Some people in the world are assholes and live by ripping others off. I would suggest getting to know people in your community and get references. There are some really awesome Pro's out there.

Steponme73 -> RE: Why do some ruin the experience for others? (5/26/2008 3:13:51 PM)

Look at the bright side.  She could have come back in tied you up wet and naked to the bed, beat the shit out of you, taken all your money and left you there for someone to find....from that stand point loosing the money does not seem like such a bad thing after all!

submale4u2spank -> RE: Why do some ruin the experience for others? (5/26/2008 6:08:59 PM)

Just find and kill her and get your money back!  :)  As you can tell, I don't like theives very much.

Hunteress -> RE: Why do some ruin the experience for others? (5/27/2008 3:43:08 PM)

Sounds very unfair if you ask me!  Since I have been pro-domming I've never arranged to meet anyone in a hotel unless they are a client I have known for many years.

Whilst submale4u2spank's idea would give you great satisfaction, it would be short lived when you find yourself in prison.  Nobody loves a theif! And two wrongs do not make a right.  However....!  If you are concerned for fellow subs and want to ensure that this sort of thing doesn't happen again (bit late for you I know) but a good old name and shame usually does the trick.
