I was just wondering if somone on here can steer me toward a local group, I am not looking for the address of Paddles, I can get that from the phone book. I am seeking a bdsm group in the NYC area that has meeetings and such, I am ready to get back involved. Thank you all in advance.

Try going to google.com and put in "NYC" and "BDSM". I usually get good results doing this with city names.

Depends on your orientation and age.

Conversio Virium is at Columbia and the last I knew they were open to non-Columbia people of ages 18+.

TES lets in people of 18+ but only allows members of 21+.

There's GMSMA if you are a gay man and LSM if you are a lesbian or bisexual woman.

There was also the Applemunch in Manhattan.

That's just off the top of my head..... Look for those terms and see what you find. Its been a few years since I lived there.

Howdy neighbor! (raised in the South, finally moved to the 'right' coast <g>)

Groups in NYC:
TES.org
Dom sub friends society
Brooklyn Leather Munch Group
Other groups in Long Island (not sure what they are though)

Suggestion:
go to www.fetishwarehouseny.com
or go to www.paddlesnyc.com
there you will find a link to events which list many groups holding events there
(you can do a google for these groups)

Also on the paddles site, click on 'LINKS' -- there is a TES and Domsubfriends link, as well as one to MaxFisch (find their calendar and browse the various groups holding events)
