My chiropractor sent me home today with a free portable TENS unit. Of course I immediately put it to good use testing it out in all the fun places after reading up on the basic safety info.

I found a lot of mixed messages in my research. Many sites say you shouldn't use it above the waist. Others say it's okay but just be careful. My chiropractor told me I could use it for my neck/shoulder pain (flipped my car over 3 times a few weeks ago), and that the only thing I shouldn't do with it is put it right over my heart or on my head/eyes/etc.

I know a bit about the body's natural electrical impulses, but I'd like to find a person with a passion for electrical play who can shed some light on safety issues as well as ideas for TENS play.

Thus far I've been testing it out on myself before anyone else (oh what a horrible chore to have to do), but there's a few things that would be easier to ask others about before I zap my clit with an electrode.

Any help, toy ideas, and deviousness would be much appreciated. Also does anyone know if it's possible to make a homemade electro dildo before I go out and spend 150+ dollars on one?

Do not use it in the heart area on the chest.

I knew that part... is that the only precaution? I thought there was also something about putting a bipolar pair one on each nipple because it would run through the chest. And obviously eyes and such would be a bad idea.

The danger is running a current that intereferes with the heart's electrical rythms.... the most overcautious safety guideline would be 'nothing above the waist', but there are ways to use a TENS unit above the waist that present no danger of stopping the heart.

It would be really smart to either abide by the former or learn everything about the latter.

That sounds like wonderful advice, and thanks for the site! Going to read through it right now.

I have made afew tens attachments for tens mostly for males, but for anal, go to home depot and get a wall stub. Attach one lead of the tens unit to the wall stub, and tape about 2 inches of the end of the wall stub.
Attach the other lead of the tens unit to some area near the hmm hole, but make sure it doesnt come in contact Which means do not connect both leads to the wallstub. one to the wall stub and the other to the skin or genitals  then enjoy.
wall stub i am talking about looks like this
