Many years ago I took a course on wine selection and tasting. It's actually one of the skills that I posess that enjoys the most.

I like my subs to be well verse in a wide variety of service skills. Cooking, cleaning, massage, administrative things (paperwork and stuff)...I like subs that also act as chaffeurs. Gardening is another one. Car repair. Computer teching. Pretty much anything your master/mistress will ever need or want.

For me service means to take care of him and to try and make his life easier. Typically, he's very stressed from the pressure's of work. I try and help him relax by making him a drink, rubbing his back and feet before bedtime so he can sleep better. I apply lotion to his hands. I pamper him. If possible, I will run errands for him and do household chores if he allows me to. Otherwise I provide service by being a good submissive and a joy to be around. I know when to be a brat and when to "shelve" the subbie and just be his girlfriend/lover/companion. I keep current on world events and politics because it interests him and he enjoys discussing these things. I serve him by reading him, knowing him, listenting to him, and using all of those to do what I can to make him happy without having to be told what to do.
