My friend is playing with a Dom and she was telling me the other day he wanted her to tie him up. He said he is a Dom but i thought that Dom's don't get tied up. From what i have experienced the Dom's tie up the subs/slaves. He does tie her up from time to time actually quite often.

So my question is, is this guy a switch or just a unusual Dom? Thanks for any thoughts on the matter.

Of course there's no clear answer.

I'm a slave and I top, I don't consider myself a switch.

There's a difference between liking a certain KINK, and liking a position in a relationship.

Is giving oral sex a submissive act? A dominant act? It's just an act. Liking it or not has nothing to do with dominance or submission.

For some people, there's a difference between a Ds switch and a Ms switch. For some people there's a difference between switching within a relationship versus switching between relationships.

maybe he was experimenting with her? Seeing how she would react?

A test of obeying orders maybe?

I am sorry to take this off topic, but I am curious. Emerald, why do you not consider yourself a switch? Is it because topping is merely a physical/sexual thing and not a position in a relationship?

I have let a very few subs use my floggers on me, at least if they know where the on/off switch is. Tied up, no would never allow that, I hate the feeling of not being in control but hey that is me. But just because I don't mind the feel of the floggers doesn't make me a switch.

We are all unique. Who knows what his kink is? Does not mean he's not a Dominant. Perhaps he wanted to see how far he could take her submissiveness to a "switch level?"

Why ask Why? Just Do when I say Do...but don't Do Do, that's to redundant.

There is no right answer for this question , only opinions.

He could be a switch, or he could be a dominant bottom. If that's the case, then the ideal partner for him would be a submissive (or "service") top. Dominant or submissive isn't about who wields the floggers. It's about who is in control. If he's calling the shots, even if he's tied up, he's the dominant.

I agree.

I was at a munch when a woman who had come with a man to the munch suddenly turned to him and loudly and forcefully said......."You BETTER spank me tonight!!"

Who was in charge in that situation?

Blessed be,
harmony
