I am not defending anyone, but I will say restaurant silverware is sterilized between uses.  And if that knife was ever dropped on the floor back in the dish pit it has touched far worse things than a wet clit.

Coming from someone who's worked in the dental health field, I can promise you that there are far more germs in the human mouth, than there are in the "down there".  Besides, the silverware gets washed between customers.  If you want to talk about gross, just look at the OSHA swipes from the salt & pepper shakers....now that's GROSS!
