It's definitely real. I've had it said to me several times on ICQ, and the ones who say it end up on my ignore list after I explain to them that while I may be a bitch, I'm not their bitch and so do not have to obey that order.

Thanks to all who have responded. I thought it might be one of those things that no one actually says, but people use as a kind of 'what-not-to-do'. Interesting to see that people really do say it. :)

I'm sure it does, ........ by the rude, uninformed, uncaring or just plain STUPID people who don't have enough sense to blow their own noses. Sorry, this is one of the things that bugs me. I believe in courtesy and respect. I MIGHT say something similar to a Sub that has been with me for some time and knows me, but I think it's totally unbelieveable that anyone would say that to someone they don't know, online or in person.

Actually my mentor used to like to say that. He would say it in this really soft, affectionate voice, usually at the beginning of a session...Followed by a ruffle of my hair and a "good girl".

Suprisingly, it actually can work if a dominant knows how to pull it off.

I am a Top, and "top" has always been a variant in my name/e-mail, and I have gotten an IM the same as the subject header in the past. I just figured it was a totally clueless man, or a child/adult playing games.

As others pointed out, I think this is a online phenomenon. While I have been very rudely approached in person by men (and women), I've not heard these words, except in jest from friends...when appropriately funny.

Recently I got an message: "Tell Daddy what you want"
I responded, "Are you sure you want to know?"
"Yes, tell Daddy what you want."
"Okay...I want you to GO AWAY!"

If I can't mess with them, after a stupid message, like the subject header, then I just ignore it. I'd rather give them a little of what they sent though, to at least hint to them how stupid they sounded. Telling them, directly, how ridiculous their statement is, does no good, so why not have some fun with it.
