fungasm -> Sex and Sensuality Exhibit- Cartoon Art Museum (5/30/2008 9:34:07 AM)

http://www.cartoonart.org/

It closes June 7th

I wish I'd known about this sooner!  Did anyone see it?

On a  related tangent, the bookstore inside the Cartoon Art Museum is run by an amazing man who sneaks in some fabulously subversive work.  That book store is dedicated to photography images and he doesn't leave out the erotic.

It would have been neat to see.

An aside: Rory Root, owner of Comic Relief, passed away a few days back. Sad deal, he did a great amount of work for sequential art.

I was fortunate that I  met Rory several times.  He was an amazing human being.  Truely one of the most gracious people I have ever met. There was not a mean bone in that man's body.  I was very sad to learn of his passing.  Donations are being accepted in his name at the The Comic Book Legal Defense Fund (CBLDF)  in memorandum.

Aw, man.  I remember poker night at Rory's.  This news sucks.  But thanks for posting.
