So, it would appear in Europe, the shit is starting to hit the fan with the fuel crisis. First we have the waggon drivers here in the UK, then Fishermen in Europe, farmers etc. We have come to rely wholy on a commodity which will run out eventually, perhaps the current issues will serve to remind us all of that fact. But in the meantime, hard times ahead for a lot of us.

It'll be right - power comes and goes - water, steam, coal, oil etc.

'Bout time we made use of blood in the power regard - 'always fresh humans to sacrifice.

Who'd be brave enough to pick up a huge steamy pile of shit and throw it at a fan, also wouldn’t it just bounce off of the guard mesh: depending on consistency.[8|] If people are seriously wanting to throw shit around I suggest an open food blender.

But what does irritate somewhat, is how long have we had a 'horseless carriage' and how far has it evolved, yet we are still reliant on the same fuel. The internal combustion engine has become so refined, but still reliant on oil and there the oil producing nations and their wiles. Surely with all this progress we should have something as good as if not better by now ?

Or is the age of personal transportation but a flash in the pan of history ?

Just the normal bunch of special interests groups wanting special treatment again. Farmers get enough handouts but always somehow need more. The fishermen have depleted stocks so much they can't catch enough fish to cover the cost of the fuel they need. Truck drivers never have paid a realistic price for their destruction of the environment. The EU should hold firm and not give handouts to subsidize fuel. High prices will make people conserve fuel and search for alternatives. If people go bust, well tough, no one cried about the mineworkers, steelworkers, car workers and many others who were kicked onto the scrap heap, they had to get onw with it and told they need to adapt to the new economic situation.
