LOL, ok when i saw the thread subject line i had to chuckle, it reminded me of this highway sign i saw once when i was getting on the Monitor-Merrimack Bridge Tunnel. I am not a male sub. There are some sorts of impact/sensation play that I can hold position for. Something like caning I need to be restrained or else I am liable to move at just the wrong moment and mess up my Lady's aim.

Seriously, you fit the situation with the sub's tolerances and the dominant's desires. If the dominant wants you to stay still and hold position unrestrained, you do that. And if you honestly don't believe you can, you tell the dominant your concerns and then say, "I will do my best". Then the dominant knows to pace the activity so they can either regulate the amount of pain, stop and let you catch your breath, or move to restraints if needed.

I can *ask* for what I want. But what I *get* is at my Lady's whim. Ultimately if I please her it's the best fulfillment for me.
