In a rather complicated and confusing decision, the Democratic Natl Cmt has agreed to seat delegates from Michigan and Florida, but only give each a half vote. Yes, it is looking like Obama has it... I wont go into my feelings on whether or not its a good thing, since we already have 5 threads that argue just that point

Are you getting paid by the word? You start one thread complaining because Obama is leaving Trinity Church, then another one claiming that Obama sat in Father Pfleger's Catholic church for 20 years, and now you claim that Obama refuses to leave Trinity....???

He removed his name from the membership but he refuses to say that anything is wrong with the church. In fact in his speech he made it quite clear the reason he is leaving is because he doesnt want the media to hound the members of the church anymore or be under scrutiny. So besides Wright, which of the 8,000 members of Trinity do you find particularly controversial? The sick and shut ins Obama did mention?

Give me a break... Obama has not denounced that church. He wont do it. He sat in that church for 20 years listening to that racism. And now all of a sudden, when he's running for president and the radical speeches that are spoken in there is coming out in the open, he decided to take his name off the membership. And you are telling me you believe him when he says he doesn't agree with it? The reality is that you are who you hang around with. He's got way too many radical and corrupt friends for me to even remotely consider moving past this issue and take his word for it. Im sorry but I dont trust Obama and I dont believe him when he says that he doesnt agree with Wright or Pfleger. I think he does agree with them. Otherwise why make them your spiritual advisor? Why call them your friends? Why listen to them for 20 years and quote them in your books? Politicians lie. They are all pathological liars. So really I dont give as god damn what comes out of Obama's mouth. I look at his actions and the people that are behind him and that associates himself with. And he scares me to death. I think he is extremely dangerous for this country and he's going to end up pushing this country back decades. He's not qualified for the job. He makes stupid statements whenever he is without a teleprompter. And he wants to meet at a table with enemies of America who want to see our destruction. I can't and I will not ever vote for the man.
