This mask
beautiful
in its simplicity
a perfect expression
The negation
of a human soul

expressionless
as you always
wanted me to be
no feeling
no thoughts

Behind this mask
you cannot see
my eyes
Or the pain
that they hold

trapped inside
not allowed
to exist
to know
to say

and

you will never see
behind this mask
because it is
all you want
to see

I am nothing
to you
a negation
not alive
just a toy
