Before I continue , I respect everyones fath in whatever god or prorhet he or she chooses.
My anger is at the fanatcits wether muslim, jew or christian.
I find it hypocritic that on one hand the fanatics who tried to blow up the embassy , and those who acted in a similar fashion in the past against the danes, consider the quran as the most holy book, whilstd within the quran it's quite ok to call christians and jews "Sons of pigs and monkeys" but if some one else insults mohammed , they see it justified to go around bombing churches embassies etc etc
Daily the press in arab countries publishes cartoons showing the jews in a manner resembling cartoons featured in nazi ran newspapers in the 30's ad 40's. and even showing christians as pig faced etc.
Why havent we seen seen any christians or jews going around bombing mosques. I believe it's all a matter of education ,

Fanatics are not religious: they go against their religion by committing acts of violence. Your conclusion that Islam teaches violence is erroneous: Islam is the most tolerant monotheistic religion around. It even accepts Jesus as a prophet of God.

Fanatics grab religion in order to further their political agenda, but Islam is only a tool in their hands, just as Christianity was the tool for the actual president of the USA to carry out an unholy war in Iraq.

Maybe so..But let me advise you not to say to any of these "Peaceful" people that Mohamed and the moslems are sons of pigs and monkeys as the quran says about christians and jews....

There are only three monotheistic religions of note, all abramic religions (something of a pattern forming here) and none are shy at knowing what their god thinks.

Though all superficially accept they believe in the same god and if this is true, god has something of a split personality.

All three religions have slaughtered in the name of their god and that hasn't been limited to the so called fundementalists of their religion.

Christianity, Islam and Judaism, all deserve each other.

I would like to add to what kittinsol said in her reply........

Islamic fundementalists are not the only people to hijack their religion in order to pursue a destructive agenda......

Christians have done it in the past and still do it to this day........

In the 14 & 15th century the christians had their crusades against both the jews and the muslims........

King Henry the 8th of england used religion as an excuse to get out of marriage, infact thats why the church of england exists as it stands today, because Henry broke from the catholic church.......

And after that the catholics were persecuted by the protestants as a result.

And it could be argued that some born again christians today are pretty fundementalist in their attitudes..........

As kittinsol mentioned GWB used his beliefs to garner support for his war from the far right christians..........

I am sure that the isllamists will not be the last fundementalists to use their religion to further their own ends.........
