MOB Fest is an independent music showcase for bands (locally, nationally and internationally) held here in Chicago for recording execs and management to see and hear. Many local venues around town play host for 3 nights with up to 24 bands (8 each night) performing on stage. last night 2 bands on the lineup received offers. i got a job offer to write for a music magazine Friday night - yes, i did accept it.

thanks and this doesn't mean i'm giving up the radio biz either.  merely doing double duty with handling more band exposure and interviews.

i blame Greedy 'cause my ex is a shit-talking-no-tooth-asshole, and i failed to notice such a blaring trait in our seventeen yrs together until i moved out a yr ago last April only to come to a state that is really a dead zone (Michigan; a reference to my Clan, not the population as a whole!), and now i have to move BACK to NC this week 'cause balloon-head-circus-monkey-who-throws-poo-at-me, AKA my ex, will not address the issues our UM is having in middle school, and i will have to buy a whip on the way so i can perpetuate that i am a Switch like succulent Miss GreedyTop, and chances are i will end up injuring myself, or poking someone's ever lovin' eye out ....... yeah, yeah ....... that's it .... That's what i blame Greedy for!!
Ohhhh and i think i packed up my coffee filters ...... that is Greedy's fault too! THAT is beyond sinful!

LMAO, yes Ma'am .... seriously! Leaving Friday, so we could be in FL, by ummmmmm, i dunno, only takes 12hrs to get to NC, so possibly another day. Am certain there are other folks we can pick up along the way, or crash at some poor Cm folks place!
