So those of you that enjoy and encourage the profusion of fluff on the boards to the point of saturation, does that make you all fluffers?

Technically, so is Moderation, for they may yank a post altogether.

There are some that give us blessed silence for months, then (not sure why, whether voluntary or involuntary, lol) come back from wherever was occupying them, and think that if they come up with the most inane of threads, that if they start as many as possible, coupled with the fact they try to make their posts look VERY unique, will make everyone know they are back.  Also....it's because they have nothing better to do atm, and want to make sure that everyone is paying attention to them.......just a possibility yanno

Ok; can I please change my vote?
I voted for no because I was thinking about *post* capping, which would obviously affect me, and not in a positive way...
But then I realized what it was actually about, and I agree more than you will ever know!
PLEASE let me change my vote?!!!!

i don't think there needs to a cap on the numbers of threads -- posts -- Ops -- that a member can post per day.  If a member's posts are irritating, just put T/them on "block"; which i guess is now known as "hide".

S'times chat is too much for me, and i need a place to just hang out and say anything on my mind....seems to me that's what a messsage board is for.

Yeah, I want to change my vote as well.  Saturation has been achieved.

Yes, i agree Lumus, but technically, censorship is imposed on the individual by others and moderation is applied by the individual on themselves .. or am i wrong?

Yanno, when I saw the thread title 'writers block' all my wicked bits tingled, only for it to be replaced with the feeling one would experience at the peak of sexual excitement only to be faced with a condom that has a hole in it and nothing to replace it with!

I'm saturated,. I vote to cap nonsense threads that are , what I consider to be, no more than spam, or an outlet for "lonely hearts" or attention, ummm, hoarders.

I dislike blocking anyone, but , sometimes , it's an attractive option.

yes it's unreasonable to  how many posts a poster makes in a day. you should have more to worry about than posts on a message board.

in wanting a 'cap' on the number of threads a person can create in a single day? I know, I know, before you say it, horses for courses, I can take it/or leave it. It's just a pain in the arse to see what amounts to as spamming on the boards.

The only problem with that idea would be, when T/they irritated most people, and if those people wanted to hide the unique appearance of those posters posts, there would be N/no O/one left to answer that poster.................

(hey, wait a minute where is that button again? That's not necessarily a bad idea!!)
