Yeah. The tylonal and a binky help with the ear pressure changes with the altitude so that they are not in pain. I did not come up with this myself. This was the reccomendation from our family doctor when I started taking Butterhead places. It works rather well.

Roscoe is getting his first RSV vaccine today. I about hit the roof when I was told that he was being taken to the doctor's office. I had not made the appointment. But the vaccine arrived and has a very short shelf life.

Butterhead has so far refrained from creating anymore fuel air explossives of any size. YAY!

Tonight my faux-nephew has another ribbon test at the kung-fu. He is really good, and needs to be in the upper level class but he is not eight until January, and is runty. His parents are... okay they are nice people but as parents they SUCK BEYOND BELIEF. Srsly. So it is pretty important to me that I be there, and if there is no sitting room I will use the GLARE OF THE GIMP to make someone move for me.

Yeah, I will need luck with that.

The office xmas cards are done, the personal ones are only addressed... and some folks are just not getting them. Partly because I am missing addresses! And cards overseas have to be sent like, two weeks ago, right? Le sigh. This is my personal holiday season of fail.

Pretty well. She mostly ignores Roscoe unless he is crying. She does not seem to be having much in the way of jealousy issues. And she certainly has not tried anything mean with him.

She blew up a lighter in the microwave. By definition, a small fuel air explosive. I was out of town at the time.

Ya know, if she wanted to microwave things, I would have no problem with her doing the microwaving of the kitchen sponge every night.

Actually, the microwave still works. It did not overload the magnetron. It is a bit singed inside though.

She ran yelling, "Daddy, daddy! The THING! The THING!" Which is Butterese for, "I think I really screwed up this time."

So. . . my parents are in town. We are doing the holidays a week early for this. Tonight, my dad actually commented on my weight. This was very strange. He has never done that before. There were a couple of other weirdnesses . . . and I am not exactly sure how to rank them. Overall, I think that things have gone well. Tomorrow: a family dinner. The other half's family and mine.

Aylee, are you prepared for the snow coming your way? The tv said you should be getting at least half a foot of it.

My parents left this morning and the in-laws left Sunday night. So it is just some family time for the next few days.

Besides, I served everyone coffee with Irish Cream in it, so folks got along with each other.

I have to leave town again on the 26th, so the family time will be nice.
