Just signed my first permission slip for Butterhead! WOOT! I have had to send along an accompanying note asking for clarification on the date (the slip had two different ones) and the cost (the slip had two different listed ~ I sent the higher one.) Who proofs these things? Not DC Novice!

oops, sowwy, Thorny....I wasn't aiming for the smoke detector.....I know how tough the goo is to remove. I aimed at the walls, but I guess the ricochet was more than I thought it'd be......

I have a cathedral ceiling in the living room... I think it bounced of one of the columns in the kitchen. It was wicked strong!

{sigh} Just got home from the interview w/the Sheriff's Office here....bombed it again. I choked.....and it was a strange one.....with the exception of 2 questions, it was all about "how do you deal with stress?" I mean, c'mon, yeah there's stress in the job, but I've been at it for 22 years, it takes alot for my blood pressure to go up.......I've lost officers in the line of duty, everything else is pretty lame once you get that call. I don't stress out about the job.....it's not worth it! But if I tell employers that I don't stress, they think I'm lying. It's like they want you to be stressed.

So, I'm done with them. THis is the third time I've tried to get on, and apparently, I'm not good enough for them. I test this Saturday for Atlantic Beach PD, so I still have options. It's just dealing with the "I shoud've said this....", shoulda, woulda, coulda crap that kills me.

I so want to crawl into bed right now and hide under the pillow.......

Well, a bit of good news on the job front....I'm getting an interview with British Airways here in town.....sort of by default, but I'll take it. I went over to test with them, and the pin number for one of the tests they gave me didn't work. Neither did the next 5.....so a gentleman there told me they were going to move me forward in the process...like I said, by default, but at least I'll get the chance to interview. It was just a basic skills test, I was looking at my neightbor's while he was taking it, stuff like math, reading, that sort of thing. I would've passed it.

If I got hired, I'd get airline benefits.....as in cheap fares! That'd be so cool! I'll have to spring for a passport.....I saw a poster for Quantas in the office, so I might make Australia.....that'd be so coooool! And at least I could get back to London......wow......to get back there would be so awesome!

But I suppose I should at least get the job first, huh? Damn details......they always screw the plans up! [:D]

OK, all you computer types, I'm still trying to figure this FB thing out...when I play a game and try to use my FB credits to get to another level, THiS is the error message that pops up when I click on the lower left corner where it says "done, but with errors on the page" or just "done" with the yellow triangle w/the exclamation point on it.

So, how do I fix it? I've tried going on line and in help, but it's all greek and I don't even know where to start looking, I tried permission denied, peemissions, combinations of eveything. I'd really like to get my games back in FB......what a pain in the ass!

Long time, s2s.

Check your Java and Flash, see if they're up to date (you can test them easily online).

Failing a necessary update, you may have an issue with your interwebz connection. If a page times out from loading (usually due to heavy graphics, a common flaw with FB games and apps) you might also get the message. This could be caused by your provider or by a server at the app's end. Test your connection speed and compare it to what you should be getting.

If those don't work, skip the game and enjoy the day. Dance under the sun. Lean into the wind. Dream of raindrops and brightly-flourished trees and flowers in a moonlit glade.

Yanno, Aylee....everyone loves a little ass, no one loves a smartass!!!!! [>:] I play FB games at night when I can't sleep and have no one to call to bother.....erm, talk to.......what's your number? That'll solve the FB problem!

Remote, I'll try the java thing, I've done the flash player thing. The paged load just fine, I just can't access the credits to get to the next level in the games.

And whattya mean, long time? I see your only curious, obviously you were here with another name....care to share?

Maybe the initial test was to see what your reaction would be to the PIN numbers not working.
Those who kept trying over and over and over failed. Those who called for assistance passed.

And for your information, smarty pants, I have an interview next Thursday, so pppppbbbbbbffffffftttttt!

I did start a job today, but it's $8 an hour....and job in the storm, but if I can get the BA job, that'd be better, $13.96 an hour, and flight bennies! And I'm moving next week...anyone in my neck of the woods with nothing better to do can come and join the fun......I'll provide dinner after the move......I dial a mean take out! [:)]

Well I am home from the hospital. The doctor ran into a couple of complications and the two hour procedure took six hours. I have two incisions on my right leg, one 8 inches long and the other is six inches long.

The next major hurdle is the mass in my kidney, I see the urologist on may 1.
