McCain: I'd Spy on Americans Secretly, Too
http://blog.wired.com/27bstroke6/2008/06/mccain-id-spy-o.html

If elected president, Senator John McCain would reserve the right to run his own warrantless wiretapping program against Americans, based on the theory that the president's wartime powers trump federal criminal statutes and court oversight, according to a statement released by his campaign Monday.

Yeah McCain might be worse than bush..If there is such a level ..Either way we are sooo screwed. I can't see any of these clowns getting America out of it's present problems. Question is do we deserve any better after the way this country has acted?

Every single election, everywhere around the world, people say those kind of things ("nobody's good enough to do the job", "we're screwed" and "it's such a mess and all the candidates are clowns"). Every single time. I say that the choice this time isn't as desperate as in 2004. At least, Bush isn't on the starting block.

A healthy dose of hope can help a country move forwards: right now, America is stuck in a rut, but with the good will and the enormous drive of its people, you can pull the country out of it. Good luck! (And I say this sincerely.)
