I desperately tried to think of a snazzy title, but instead went with the professional and windy worded titles commonly found in the pages of American Psychological Association articles. I've been mulling over the idea of a poly household/fluid family and overall like the idea. I think it has a lot of merit and blah blah blah... I could only imagine a house of 4 women and me, the male fantasy? But then I remembered hearing about that refractory period God blessed man with. To this I thought well, if one car is in the shop 1/24th of the time, might want to buy a scooter. So I started thinking about the idea of adding a boy to the home. While I can see far too many issues arising with two straight dominant males (I get the image of a refrigderator with red electrical tape running down its center axis) I can't think of many cons of having a straight or bi male sub. While I don't have any urge to have sex with it, I think I'd enjoy ordering him and the girlies around. Other than listening to me thinking aloud, does anyone have anything they'd like to add to this? Edit: To anyone with experience of having a male service slave or some other arrangement, how did it work out?

I've considered a houseboy if the dynamic was right. I don't see any major issues with it. As long as everyone is getting their needs met and is happy with the relationship. Its all good. [:)] CD

I think you might be imagining it very much in the same way I do when I think if I would ever take on a girl. Truthfully, if I ever want My poly family to expand, I don't think I can just keep adding boy after boy. Eventually, I would have to balance out the hormones in some way. It's not that I would have sexual interest in her, but I'm sure I would want another female in the house at some point. Of course, this would be much later down the road for Me.

I'm going to takje this from a different but for me a logical and practical application. I am the head of Bruin Cottage with my wife (also a dominant) as 2ic. She is bi curious and I rate myself bisewxual but more because i have no ptoblems in dandling a male in BDSM play ot having a male join us in a bedroom romp. (he gets his dick near my ass or mouth and he'll be emulating Bobbit [:-]). However on the practical side of things it is more likely that Nreets (My lady) will prefer to have a boy as a personal slave and I'd prefer to have a female but the situation arises (no pun intended) in that due to ED aka LDS, I want another male to playsexually with and give satisfaction to the women in my home if they require sonething hard and throbbine between their legs and dont feel like jumpiung on a motor bike or ride on mower. I'ts a practical solution which can work out very well. On the household side of things, there is always things needing doing which I can not always do if my legs decide not to function at the time as thauy should in the garden etc and I do need a hand in other things about the home anyway. Jeez I could talk your ear off on this one. Perhaps questions would go better to which I could answer to. But here's how things stand now. I've allowed my wife/slave to take on a lover/sub Now up till this she'd never taken a domme role and never will to me. her sub does switch but not in any hardcore way. The way things are worked out is he generally comes over on the weekends. I allow them to have their own girlfriend/boyfriend time. But I'm not excluded. When it comes down to play. Here's how it flows. she'll dom him. But under my wtachful eye (she's still learning her aim and control of her sadistic impulses) he does not dom her. I will, when it is in my mood to allow him to beat her, at my descretion and he helps me in setting her up to be tied etc. By extension her sub is my sub as she is my slave and this is how she likes it and he has no problems with it. Plus he enjoys being beaten by me as my aim is true. That's how it works here and both he and I are straight which works for her as she gets all the attention any way. he does not live in our household either, as there're plenty of other issues there which I can speak to if you want, being I've run our poly household for 13 years and the ladies boyfriends are not live in family. Also this takes a very certain type of individual to be able to handle things like this and not feel their need to try and be the Alpha Male. We have tried it before and this is the first one to work out with any longevity.

Are you in it for the sex or are you in it for the control or are you in it because you feel led to be with him in a spiritual partnership? If the latter two, you should have no problems. I know many households who have mixed sexualities. Oddly enough, most of those are also mixed spiritualities. Master Fire
