Popeye you might as well find a dog, buddy.
I look at Obama and believe me, I see his friends and questionable associates.
I just refuse to vote for more of the same sort of thing.

I respect the fact that you do vote, though.

Do you think you are throwing your vote away?

Mia, if you vote you're never throwing your vote away.
Even if your party loses it sends a message to the powers that be.

Mia, why grown people want to kiss a *U.S. Senator's* ass is beyond my capability to figure out!
And I am equally baffled by why all the Nascar Gomers, who, being peons, are the enemies of the Republican leadership, rimmed Bush at every opportunity!

Leatherist, so you're a McCain man eh?

Suzykeu -> RE: Why am I NOT on the way to the Obama Rally tonight??? (6/5/2008 8:27:02 PM)

i got to see the speech this evening and it was fantastic. Senator Webb gave the introductory speech and Governor Kaine was there, but he wasn't able to stay for any time because his son was graduating the same night. The speech was very good, although it sounded geared for a rural crowd, which I wasn't expecting since it was his "Northern Virginia" speech and i was expecting something else. Honestly, i wouldn't be surprised if he picks his VP from Virginia *Crosses fingers for Warner!*

I've heard him speak several times in person. He used to be my state senator.

Since he started running for POTUS I haven't been able to go to any of his speeches but I'm going to make a concerted effort to hear one before listening to his speech next January 20th.

Since when do they let the losers speak?

Thanks for posting Suzy!
I have heard bits and pieces of his speech, what I have heard so far was encouraging.

At least you did get a chance to go, I think he is trying hard to reach out to the folks "in the
hills" and rural area's, which would explain the slant of his speech.
You were able to see history in the making tonight.
Up with people!

I find it embarrassing and insulting that the only reason people are supporting Obama is because of how he talks...

That right there shows the intelligence of average American voters is in the toilet.

You know....this is exactly how Hitler won...

I'll probably vote the Constitution Party ticket like I have ever since Reagan.

You were voting Constitution Party in 1988? Kind of surprising since it was only founded in 1992.

BTW why do you vote for a theocratic party?

It's hardly the same as being there, Mia, becoming part of the crowd energy a really good speaker can generate, but this is an excellent site if you actually want to know the whole of what he said.  Text, audio (listen at work?), and video.

If you can't be there, click here, scroll down to the "B"'s and watch a rerun.

Dom Ken, I know I didn't vote for Bush 41 or Dukakis in '88 so it may have been for the Libertarian Party but I can't remember.
I don't like Republicans or Democrats.  A theocratic party would be like a breath of fresh air after the Dems and Repubs!
We do need "Change" and it doesn't involve either of those two partys!

I guess the nicest thing I can write is you're forsworn and I despise you for that.

I totally agree with needing a new party.
I think we need at least TWO new parties, imagine having real choices?
I tell you what Popeye, you might not like Obama, but you can't saw he won't

attempt to make some significant and mostly positive changes.

Oh sure!
He's right out of the "Chicago Democratic Machine", that group is 10 times more corrupt than the "Boston Irish Democratic Machine."
Oh there'll be "changes" allright!
