I was just wondering, especially those Dommes whom are interested in online Domming:

When asking for a submissive to take photos for you, what types of poses are more "tasteful," and/or "interesting," and/or "exciting"? I mean to ask, what are some general ideas for poses of which You personally find enjoyable? Just asking out of curiosity!

I always preferred photo's taken in their natural lives, that they live every day.  Unless, I specifically ask, nudes and racey pictures are not what I would be looking for.

Oh, yeah... I was referring to your own submissives, what you would ask for... (i don't give out racey photos anyway). The reason I ask is because a friend of mine is interested in Online subbing, but I don't really know what to tell him he should do. He's an attention whore and wants to do racey photos... because i have no idea what most Dommes are interested in... I thought I'd just pose the question.

I'll admit, I'm rather curious myself. =)

I still think, that unless a racey photo is asked for, it is probably best to opt for something more conservative.  If I wanted my online submissive to send a racey photo, I would certainly make sure he knows that is what I wanted. 

Has he asked his Domme what kind of photos she likes to get from her submissives?

Nope, it's just a conversation that was stuck over lunch (surprisingly). He's not a big fan of "online" things, and is shying away from CM. Whereas I think he can learn lots from here and maybe even meet someone. But no, he's not "collared" or exclusively with anyone at the moment.

Is this a person who is doing this as a service to you?  If so, my favorite pictures to recieve are artistic nudes.  No genitals, just the outline of the body, covering all the other parts.  I enjoy recieving pictures if they are taken as works of art, not porn.  If this person has features they are proud of (a nice body, beautiful eyes, etc.), those are an exceptionally nice focus.  Err...once again, barring genitals.  I just can't be appreciative of pictures like that.  x.X

You know what else is really cool?  A sweet picture with said person cuddled up with a sign that says 'Hi [INSERT DOM NAME HERE.]'  I've always loved personal things like that.

I've been collecting photos for quite some time of shots I like.  Not particularly hard core stuff, but instead things that strike me as artistic.

Most of them tend to involve a little bit of 'hiding'.  It might be the bottom half their breasts/ass.  It might be a hand trying (but not quite fully succeeding) to protect modesty.  Or it could be something that looks like an inadvertent bit of nudity.

I prefer ones like the ones I have taken of Fox. Suggestive, and either hinting at or outright in bondage. This is ONLY when they are mine.
I will make requests if I am controlling someone online. Just for profile photos, suggestive, shirtless and collars are nice (my fetish... I'll admit it.)

If the Domme did not specifically ask for a particular type of photo, She is most likely testing to see what type of photo he is first inclined to give. When I am starting up a new relationship with a female, I will ask for a photo but I don't specify racy or not. If they ask, I reply "you decide". The initial photos sent can say a lot about a new sub. My advice is for him to ask Her. If She doesn't specify then let him send his initial inclination, it will give Her insight into his personality.

I like photos showing a sub doing something they like to do i.e. swimming, playing raquetball, reading a book in the park.
