Did anyone ever notice that bdsm relationships are like looking for freaking job. I mean you have to subbmit some freaking resume dot your eyes cross your t,s and stuff.  I really do not want to leave my job and go and go back to work again how stupid is that.  I am while a dom domme is da boss lol. No wants to work 24 seven.  Unless your just not there upstairs.  But in reality my point is    when did this lifestyle become a job and can I take this out of my taxes Rofl  what about health anf bennies

MakeMeSmile4U -> RE: whats this (6/6/2008 7:18:31 AM)

I'm pretty much a newbie, but I think maybe you're in the wrong line of 'work' if BDSM is too much trouble for you.
Just my opinion...

KatyLied -> RE: whats this (6/6/2008 7:21:08 AM)

Any relationship worth having is going to require some work.

LATEXBABY64 -> RE: whats this (6/6/2008 7:21:31 AM)

RCdc -> RE: whats this (6/6/2008 7:25:50 AM)

You have to work at all relationships to make then productive and successful.
Health and benefits?  Yup - those are my plus points.  I work hard at the relationship, it succeeds, makes me happy and healthy both mentally and in the physical, and I get to be loved, cared for and have great sex.
And the health and dental plan isn't bad either.[;)]

hmmm would dotting your eyes, be considered a form of eye tattooing? wonder what aqua eyes would look like  hehehehehehe

xxblushesxx -> RE: whats this (6/6/2008 8:49:01 AM)

Well, proper grammer and punctuation is important to many; but not to everyone.
You do need to take the time to get to know people and find out if your interests and your priorities are a match.
Otoh, if 'wooing' me is too much work for a guy to do before we ever even get together, he's not going to make it to the second round...

That would be correct. I'm pretty sure the OP meant dotting the "i"s....it just "struck" me really funny though.

Leatherist -> RE: whats this (6/6/2008 12:27:48 PM)

The ones with planning, structure, division of labor and goals are the ones that work.

The rest is pretty much bedroom sport.

Passion357 -> RE: whats this (6/6/2008 12:54:08 PM)

Life is not a hamburger.. wtf.. LOL

Sorry that just kinda smacked me out of nowhere..

Umm OP:

As many have stated here, something that you have to "work" had for- IS WORTH HAVING. Now, if you are not willing to work 24/7 to be a good slave, I'm not sure I know any good Masters (male or female) who would want to have you :)

Sorry- life's blunt sometimes.

On the lighter side- I see what you mean, erm, sort of. Ok not really. I am not a male slave so I don't know what the "average" is for Domme's out there as far as what they expect from you guys. ( I am just using male/female as a general type of relationship) I know it can be annoying for us babygirls and what the Masters we face can and do expect. I dunno if it's harder for babyboys or not.... maybe you have a valid complaint. I suppose only your true Mistress ( I'm sure she's out there somewhere ) will know the answer to that...

My suggestion would to never ever ever let them know your screen name on collarm or you will never find a relationship

softness -> RE: whats this (6/6/2008 1:40:51 PM)

thinks ... I actually *did* submit a CV ... and a covering letter ... and had an actual interview

of course I spent the interview blowing the interviewer, wearing inappropriate clothing around the office, offering numerous sexual favours and resorting to base bribery in order to get the position I was after

I just worry that DV might have me up in front of the disciplinary board for gross sexual misconduct in the workplace ... He did say He felt horrible exploited by the whole affair .. and would probably require counselling ... or blows jobs ... which was it?

slavegirljoy -> RE: whats this (6/6/2008 3:05:54 PM)

If you love something and believe in it and have a passion for it, it's not work, it's a pleasure.

Searching is work.  It's sweat and tears and long hours of looking and reading and writing and hoping and not knowing if it will be successful.  Searching for anything that's important to you is stressful.  But, what's the alternative?  Give up and don't search and never find what you really want?

And, in the end, when your search finally pays off and you have what you need (and, it might not be exactly what you were searching for but, it's what you need), it makes all those years of searching well worth it.

Yeah, sure it would be nice if you could find it a lot quicker and easier.  But, then again, you might not appreciate it as much, if it was easy.

When did people forget that vanilla relationships are very similiar? A friend recently left her long-term boyfriend because he wasn't going anywhere in his life. Happily, her leaving kicked his butt in gear and he got her back - and is staying on track.

You jump through the hoops, you buy the flowers, wear the heels, figure out if you both want kids, if you can live together, you find out if they refer to all their exes as crazy bitches/bastards, you check out each other's dating "resume" to see if there are any red flags.

It's all "work". Just with the right people, in my opinion, it doesn't feel like it.
