I'm sure this has been asked before. For those of you who have a full house/ don't live with your SO/play partner, where do you usually stay during the other's visit?

I'm in a bit of a quandary since I live in my father's house, and my sibling is home from college indefinitely. I'm contemplating a hotel, but it seems pricey... Any suggestions? Much appreciated.

If it is a first visit I don't normally play   and even for first time playing I rarely allow the dominant to my home even though I live alone unless  I have a lot background info on them.. I don't want them showing up again at my door in the event things don't go well at least not until I know them better.. so far all doms have rented a motel room...part of the reason is for my own safety, I have in the past met a couple men that after a couple meets have become very possessive  and when I try to end the relationship they refuse to take no for an answer and have harassed the heck out of me and even stalked ... with me having to resort to calling the police , so now  by not letting them know where I live until I am more sure of them  I can avoid that problem

One option can be play parties that are arranged by local bdsm groups..it won't be as private but there will be people around to stop things in case the play gets too rough

First, I love your outfit!

Okay.. how about, pitch a tent and go camping? The tent itself is a one time expense and actually they're not too expensive. The double roomed ones are good sized plus you have the great outdoors for a playground.

i agree with Maya, and have had some negative experiences of my own that helped me reach this decision point.  No Man is spending the night at my house until i feel a sense of trust and familiarity with Him.  Anyone coming to see me from out of town for the first (or second, or third....) time must either get a hotel at His own expense or simply cancel His plans to see me.

Probably the dumbest and scariest experience i've had when i did not follow this rule involved a Man who stayed one night, then unexpectedly left the next day while i was out at an appointment i had not been able to reschedule. He stole my credit card and house key, and i discovered He had tampered with my back door, which i rarely use, so that it was left unlocked.  For awhile after He left i was quite shaken.

Celeste -- camping? Eeew....hard limit, lol.

I prefer to have my woman stay at my house. I want her to have visited during the day, I want her to feel like it's her house, I want her to be totally at ease.

Find a decent local discount notell/motel. Hotels.com is a good resource for them. Just check the feedback ratings and find some place cheap and clean. Who cares if it is a 5 star place or not. You aren't there for the accommodations are you? lol.

Do you know anyone who might allow you the use of their pad for a bit? I did that a few times years ago when I was in your position.

The no-tell motel is your best bet....plus you can add a little sleaze factor. Had a hot scene at a sleazy motel once with a guy...he knew i had a thing about icky hotel rooms and he made the most of this icky one....ended up being very very hot.

Uh, yeah. Camping. A hard limit. My idea of camping is a hotel without room service.

To answer the OP: What about friends? Anyone you know going to be out of town and need a house-sitter?

Best of luck, merry

Out doors and especially camping is a great idea, but would depend on where we went. Could head of to one of the islands on my coast but would need to secure the camping area and tent due to wild dingos roaming and not afraide of campers. (Advantage is the ocean beach there and jolly good fishing). Othere costal areas north of me are fine but not near rivers, creeks or beach due to damned large salt water crocodiles who will and have attacked campers. Inland is good as long as a goanna or two don't want to share the trent..  Aye a bush camp seem great to me especiallu isolated so you can romp and play naked....... Now if you have a fsamily of koalas in the nearby gum trees and you get the girl wailing in sexul frenzy, the kolals will porobably join in (up the trees and not in your bed) and rend the bliss with loud grunts which appear to be the koalas' sexual frenzy sound.... .

I'm guessing the reason you don't want the SO around is the noise factor more than anything?

In my past we did hotel rooms- quick simple usually not that expensive and like most people I find them an enjoyable opener for raunch.  Growing up as well, staying at a hotel at any point was considered a huge luxurious rarity so I still tend to feel spoiled in one.

Sometimes we also stayed with kinky friends.

now see, this is a prime example of why camping is a hard limit - no air conditioning, no chocolate on the pillow - and the damn masters want to go fishing and inflict pain on the fish - not me!!!!!
and don't get me started on the wildlife!!!!!

If you are in a hotel room that is on the questionable side, remember something very important.  Take off the bedspread.  Do not have sex or sit naked on the bedspreads of questionable hotel rooms.  They are not changed regularly.  In some cases bedspreads are not changed for months.  While many of the nastier bugs can't survive the open air (HIV for example), there are lots of (disgusting) reasons you don't have sex on top of where other people have had sex.

Another option for where to stay, especially if you partner is coming from out of town- many Hostels have private rooms.  Generally the private room rate on a hostel is about $35 a night.  And a possibility on where to play:  many Hot Tubs and Bath Houses welcome couples for private baths.

Have fun.

Of course there's air conditioning! slaves are well known for their ability to use large palm fans to keep a Master cool in the heat of the day! There better be Master's favouritew chockies on his pillow or said slave bay be used as bait for shark fishing in the morning. Master toils hard on the ocean beach battling piscitorial adverseries and when finished the master toils back to camp under the weight of rods and fishing gear whilst the slave trotts happily along under the burden of kilos of fish. Master seated near camp fire with iced beer to hand (fetched by happy willing slave) merticulasly cleans fishing rods and reels whilst slave scales and fillits fish, prepares the fillets for evening feast and cooks them to Master's satisfaction. Once the can has been policed adequately, and slave has bathed in the ocean, she is ready to have her bollom tanned for cursing under her breath whilst cleaninjg fish or gathering bait and leter she is forced to get all hot and sweaty labouring on the bed pleasing her adoring Master in a varfiety of intimate pleasures..

Seems to me to be right and propper. All is as it should be..

I am assuming that you mean regular partner as opposed to someone you are just meeting by the way you phrased the question.

Staying at a hotel can be the best way to go if you can find one that won't break your budget.
As far as the camping idea goes, some campgrounds do offer cabins as opposed to a tent, so that might work also.

When I visit the city, I usually put out the money for a hotel.  Certain chains will offer "frequent stayer points" which allows for a free night after reaching a certain number of visits or points.

Good luck

Of course, I'm just talking out loud here but....at 19...I'd consider getting my own apartment.

(Just a thought).
