This post is directed toward the ladies only. I'm a single guy

Is there an effective way to meet a potential partner who enjoys rope play but is not a Pro Domme?

I have nothing against Pro Dommes, but I'd like to find a long-term partner and unless she's comfortable with my enjoyment of being tied, it seems like an exercise in futility.

Are there women out there who have vanilla lives, but whom I'd be compatible with as far as my kink is concerned?

Just put it in your profile and see what happens. I have no idea what your chances are, as I don't know how many women consider themselves rope-Tops. You might also try getting involved in your local scene. You might have a better time finding play partner for a very specific type of play, like rope bondage, that way.

I always find it interesting when someone posts "I only want to hear from the ladies" on a topic that so many men may have exactly the answer the person is seeking. Usually, if I have a question, I'd be happy for the answer to come from someone's stuffed bean bag frog if that's the one who has the answer.

It really depends on what you have to offer.
What makes you fun, interesting, compelling to tie up?
I would be quite content with a physical top/bottom relationship/friendship with a bottom that could really push my buttons. He'd need to have poise, a certain charm, be attractive to me, etc. -- but beyond that, he'd have to be GOOD at being TIED UP.

Now, if that last line doesn't make sense...that's a problem!

I think, if you phrase your desire correctly, you might be able to easily find one. Plenty of female tops would probably enjoy strengthening their rope skills without getting involved beyond that. If you are really only looking to be tied up (not trying to get laid), women already in relationships might also find you appealing because you would not interfere.

Just a thought. are you really only looking for rope play though?

Often local BDSM groups have a bondage or rope SIGs. Attending meetings of such groups might help you with what you seek.

Just be honest about what you want. In my opinion, you'll be more apt to find what you want if you attend lifestyle parties and play there.

I seriously doubt the lady you're looking for is 'vanilla' except for a bondage fetish.

You need to join a Bondage group and meet a few Dommes who enjoy rigging more than other BDSM activities.

Not every Domme lives for the thrill of whupping up on people.

Some of us prefer rigging to anything else.
