Celeres -> RE: I just read your profile and had to write (6/8/2008 12:14:08 AM)

Well, from my own experience, I'm generally fairly upfront about why I'm writing. Usually, it's because I read their profile and in some way, it has intrigued me. Then again, I don't make the mistake of saying someone is Dominant when their profile clearly states that they are submissive. I personally focus on the profile that "speaks" to me the most. Usually, I get a response thanking me for reading their profile, and not much more. But often times my message is just deleted. No harm done, since I'm just giving out compliments where I see fit. If they read it and feel uncompelled to write me, oh well. But, getting back to your question, if there is something that doesn't "feel" right, then it probably isn't. Also, my usual rule of thumb... if someone uses the word phrase "dot com" in a way to offer their messenger, is deleted immediately. Anyway, those are my two cents... [:D]
