Any other poets out there on collarme?

I've posted several of my poems on my profile journal, but I would love to see what others of you have written also.

I'm a good writer but a mediocre poet.

Poetry takes more than writing talent and hard work, I think. It needs a certian divine inspiration, or so it seems to me...The only decent ones I have written have come into my head fully born, you know what I mean?

There was a time when I used to write poetry quite feverishly. I'm just not inspired to do so any more. Most of what I wrote was a bit depressing, so maybe it's a good thing I don't get that type of inspirational feeling. I did have my love sick period as well, but misery was much more inspiring. Maybe I should reconsider matromony; the second time around might get my inspirational juices flowing once again.

Please everyone's safe so don't anyone get their knickers in a bundle, I won't be sharing them here.

Also, there used to be a section that featured CM members writings, I guess with all the new sensorship laws encrotching on us, the moderators must have felt it safer to pull the plug on that section, then again it could just be a glitch on my screen.

I write as well, but unfortunatly we are no longer able to post creative writing on collarme.

Look for the thread titled "Forum Changes" and it'll explain why.

I write poems now and then
Times I hear the silent wind
I speak my words in such delight
To draw thoughs in for me to bite
