ORIGINAL: DavanKael Laser does not work for everyone. I tried it out on a much smaller, different locale than discussed and it didn't work...had 4 or 5 treatments done. I was displeased; it was not cheap. I tried Nair under my armpits once, only once: I was maybe 13 and was going to the beach. Seemed a grand idea not to have to shave said pits. Put the junk on, waited, hurt, left it on the recommended amount of time. By the time I walked back to the mirror, I had blood running down my sides. Nair is evil, evil I tell you! As for pubic hair shaving, I don't see the big deal but then again, I've been shaving for over 20 years. You get used to it, you rarely nick things, and any nicks that do occur heal quickly. Oh, and a brand new razor is a lot more likely to tear a person up than one that's been used a little bit, at least in my experience. I did have my eyebrows waxed for the first time a few months ago. That smarted; my friend laughed at me because it made my eyes tear up, lol! I didn't like the sensation, there was asymmetry, and I found that I can retain roughly the same results (Sans the asymmetry hopefully) with a razor. Davan (Apparently one of the few fans of razors for just about any sort of ridding of body hair) Don't feel like you're alone there, Davan. I have exactly two choices. I either shave or I have hair. I never had quite as bad of an experience with Nair as you did, but My result is nothing that I want to repeat. I've seen a new product advertised on tv recently that might hold some promise. I wish I could remember the name off of the top of My head, but it basically looks like a little buffing pad. If I try it, the test run certainly won't be on My bikini area.
