here's what my pix are (in case anyone is interested)

Photo 1 - the Nazca Desert, Nazca Peru
Photo 2 - John Deere dealership, Moline IL USA
Photo 3 - me and you in a bar in Chicago being good girls... (really!!!)
Photo 4 - a plaque in Umbria, Italy which says "The coffee should be hot as hell, black as the devil, pure as an angel, and as sweet as love.
Photo 5 - Tea service in Insadong, Seoul, So. Korea
Photo 6 - Witches Balls (glass ornaments), near Nashville Tennessee, USA
Photo 7 - Strawberries, Farmer's Market, near Nashville
Photo 9 - My grandma's farm lilacs in front of the barn, Illinois (just south of Wisconsin) 
Photo 10 - forgot to put a photo there.
Photo 11 - clay pussy

Status: offline 		ever - the lilacs are in Northern Illinois, near the Wisconsin border.  My grandma's farm.  She has deep purple, pale lilac, and white... oh the wind whips through and the scent is just amazing!

Thanks for the lovely words... I have been very lucky to have been able to live this traveling dream.  I find that a few shots really can capture a moment - A beautiful tree in the desert!  Wow!  And the focus on attention even to the most minute detail for tea in Korea!  Wow!  I've been lucky to see amazing things.  Sometimes it's not possible to take a bad shot. 

Oh dear oh dear.. DV, i'm sooooooo sorry... and you know, I meant to... I sent Fox a little note ages ago about that very thing.   Must have been the jet lag... Well, I'll probably get back there again soon.  I promise... (please no spankies)

Status: offline 		thanks sunshine that made me smile a heart smile hearing that you spent time with your grandmother. you probably will never smell the scent of lilacs without loving thoughts of your grandmother.
that's the stuff that makes life worth all the pain and ugliness. for me anyway.

And, I have to tell you, one of the things I miss the most about living in Florida is the smell of lilacs in May. It just isn't spring without them...

Status: offline 		Some excellent pictures there. I work in an art center with two art galleries and twenty artist studios (three of which are photographers). I’ve been part of putting on many art shows including photography shows so I feel justified in saying that some of those pictures could easily be in a show, particularly the Nazca Desert, the John Deer tractors, and the lilacs and barn.

On a side note, I did fall for the clay pussy. In my interactions with the art world I have seen a lot of nudes and so have seen photos of pussies, paintings of pussies, and even wood and metal sculptures of pussies but, surprisingly, I’ve yet to encounter a clay pussy. I thought I was about to but... damn it!
