My Master and I are on the hunt for that oh-so-symbolic piece of my everyday wear, the collar.

The generic web sites, honestly, don't cut it.

From what I've heard him say, he wants to put something functional, sleek, and silver around my neck. (Anything that won't rust or tarnish, always good, he didn't say if he'd lock it...)

On this piece, I would expect he'd want it engraved, or have a crescent moon hanging from it. Even a really strong choker-type necklace would be exceptional.

He's looking for quality, but not to spend a month's rent check, if you catch me?

And, another factor, these sellers that place fake stones on their work... It's not that attractive to either of us.

But, I will dutifully check out any and all suggestions if you post them! I appreciate it!

Mmm... Ring of steel is certainly quality, and I doubt I could break them (ha-ha), but not exactly the sleek look my Master wants.

i have actually designed my collar, need to find a jewelry maker or silversmith to make it. It is as you describe, something convertible. A plain leather collar to start, with a lock in the back and a ring in the front., with a silver flat strip just slightly more narrow than the leather- made as a choker, with an engraving in it ( which i have designed to have specific meaning to my Master and myself.), in the front -an oval opening for the ring to fit through, and in the back, the clasp which will secure it as a choker, and then also attach it to the collar as an overlay for play. They would be keyed together, like a wedding band and engagement ring.  When worn as a choker, a charm can hang in the oval opening for added interest.

I just ordered a "Ring of Steel" Collar with the stealth allen screw.  I can't wait for it to get here thanks soooo much for that awesome tip IrishM57.  I am going to wear it 24/7 so that option is nice to have.  At first glance it looks like jewelry but oh so functional.  [:)]  Audrey

All of them are nice,,each a very interesting look and appeal.
I am going to be looking around for a good looking collar when I am ready to place my collar around the right slave's neck.
Now I have some good ideas of where to look.

I second bondage collars, his are so much better then any other eternity style collar i have come across, made out of sterling silver and so very pretty and girly (and he will custom make)

I'll have to show you all the collar I have on order with axsmar when it comes in. They said it will be two weeks, so since I am so patient, time should go by sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo quik. I also have a set of custom locking stainless cuffs That I want to show off whem they are done.

I have a gold wire filled one from here that I simply love. There are silver options as well as other metals. The artist was easy to contact and get feedback from (I had tons of questions). My profile photo is with my collar although it isn't the best photo. [8|]
