i posted this thread because i was curious, lately i have been finding myself very attracted to older ladies (not old, just older then myself  32-early 40's) i was just wondering if there were any guys who feel the same way....im not saying that i dont like younger girls just that if i had the choice between a good looking older woman and a good looking younger woman i go younger everytime

looking foward to some feedback, thanks.....

I'm gearing up for the 50 mark here soon enough. The Man that owns me is 13 years younger than i am.......we have been together since 2001, must be something about me that He likes.

What's that saying about aged wine? *chucklez*

Happy Tuesday...

Older people in general are simply more mature. Is it impossible for a younger person to have it all together by 20? Maybe, it's just not that likely. Also, their ability to commit is hampered by a probable lack of experience - there will come a time when they will wish they were free to explore alternatives to what they may have already.

I often describe a good relationship as being built around people who are on the same road with similar goals. They don't otherwise have to be that similar, but the broad strokes of who they are have to mesh well together or they will have failed before they begin. I don't believe that opposites attract, I believe that people in the situation as described above will sometimes compliment each other well in terms of their individual skill sets (which is really not at all the same thing as being opposites).

At my stage in midlife I rarely consider someone under 30 as being capable of fulfilling me as a person. It's not impossible, just unlikely. And I am not that interested in compromising some things just to get some young flesh. Been there and done that and been disappointed in the exact way I expected and deserved. Oh, the promises that were broken...

And speaking from my sexual perspective, experienced pussy is better pussy. It just is.

As a rule of thumb I'd say that people need to look for partners no more than 15 years younger or older than they are themselves. And that's probably stretching it a bit. Any more than that and I'd say someone in the relationship is looking for some kind of payday or has a particular fetish about age differences.

My Master is 4 years younger than me.  That's not a big age difference.  I look much younger than my 45 years, so maybe that helps?

He laughs when I mention the difference because He says He likes having His own personal "cougar".

Age and experience will beat youthful enthusiasm, every time.

One thing people forget.. with both older male-younger female/older female-younger male dynamic..  the older parter will continue to get older and the younger one forgets that (even though he/she gets older also)

Internally, our mind still sees us as "young" but our eyes will see the aging.

So, whatever it is that you seek, love the essence of the person- not what they look like or physically do to you.

Well, older doesn't necessarily mean more mature...I'm living proof!!

(I could name a few others around here like that, but, I'll let them out themselves...)

I have always like teh older wimmens.... they dont do the fuckin game playing bullshit that women my age seem to crave... (though im certain that there are exceptions)
and they tend to know what they want, which means a lot less potential problems later on

I look a hundred and ten, but still tend to get much younger men running around after me. It's not an "on purpose" thing, but I do seem to be primarily attracted to guys about 35.

To the Op:  i peeked at Yr profile. If at 22, You find Yourself increasingly attracted to women who are 40, that means the age gap is big enough that Your partner could have been Your mother.

i realise that some 'mature woman' are actively seek out younger Men.  Thus, the coining of the term 'cougar'. This doesn't seem to be a D/s phenom, but rather one seen in 'vanilla' women as well.

i agree with what SugarMyChurro had to say. i would just add this: at age 21, i married a Man 10 years older than i.  Like most 21 year olds, i was still feeling my way along, so to speak.  My ex 'used' his experience at life to 'override' my opinions or preferences.

i think there is a potential for this same dynamic should You become involved with an older woman.  "Maturity' brings with it for most P/pl a sense of personal power based on success, experience and growth.  Young P/pl haven't usually acquired such 'personal power', and without great care, the relationship can develop some dynamics that IMO may be detrimental to the younger Man.

Best wishes to You.
