Carl Hiassen has also been banned from the Magic Kingdom for life because he wrote a book about it. "Team Rodent: Disney Devours the World". Mickey is Evil !

There once was a time - I think if you google 'flash mountain'
You'll find pictures of people that flashed body parts or groped body parts specifically for the camera.
They were supposed to never be shown and the workers were to delete them - but thankfully some escaped....

check it out.

Not according to your link.  It says Disney would make him and his family Grand Marshalls of the parade if he came.

I got my picture taken with Elastigirl last trip.  Maybe Hiassen should try talking her into tying him up?

cjan -> RE: Disney World (6/11/2008 6:51:00 PM)

I guess Disney changed their mind after the bad press they got for banning him and his family. I remember that his wife and kids were refused entry at the gate after his book came out.

Oh.  Okay.  Why didn't you link to something that mentioned that instead?

Disney parks are going to require you to play by their rules.  They are a lot of fun if you are willing to accept that.  Besides, has it occurred to any of those who feel violated, that fucking on the Haunted Mansion might break something?  Much less Peter Pan's Flight?

cyberdude611 -> RE: Disney World (6/11/2008 7:42:37 PM)

About a year ago Downtown Disney and Pleasure Island had some gang activity going on. Disney reved up security big time and eliminated it. A bunch of people were banned for life. An old woman just a year ago was also caught trying to bring a gun into Magic Kingdom. She is now banned for life.

Their security does not play games. They take the rules seriously.

And what's the point of fucking on a ride anyway? You do that in Universal or Sea World and you are likely to get kicked out as well. All theme parks are G-rated.

Save the kinky and x-rated stuff for the hotel room.

Then maybe we should change that.  We'll build a BDSM theme park.  Who wants to be on the design team.

SingleRarity -> RE: Disney World (6/11/2008 9:48:48 PM)

Thanks to everyone who has posted.  Just so you all know I was only planning on some mild groping.  Daddy and I would never push our kink on others, and I'm not stupid enough to ask Aladin for a spanking no matter how hot he is.  I was suprised to learn about the camera's in the Haunted Mansion, but what can you do right?  I'm still hoping for a night in the Cinderella suite and if that happens all bets are off.

I don't think we'll be heading over to SeaWorld, as dolphins are a strict hard limit.

Good night kinky people.

There already is one its called "Las Vegas" LOL What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas - which is why they should move Tailhook there!

beachstoyboy -> RE: Disney World (6/11/2008 10:22:43 PM)

Actually Vegas is not very BDSM friendly. When I was married there three years ago there wasn't a public dungeon to visit! If you wanted to play, you could rent a pro's dungeon or a "fantasy theme" studio. Or you could go to the Green Door swinger's club and use their dungeon themed room (which we did.) But there wasn't a "real" dungeon where the community went to play. Finally one opened just a few months ago! http://www.sincitylibertine.com/ In Las Vegas you'd expect dungeons on every street corner, but something about the local laws has stopped people from doing them till now. And by the way, if you go to Vegas don't bother to see Zumanity the Cirque Du Soleil show. It doesn't have much of the trademark athleticism that makes Cirque Du Soleil so great and I've seen more erotic things done in supermarket parking lots.

Or -- Maybe not *again*...

They raped SEVEN GUYS! In a town FULL OF HOOKERS.

wikipedia:

In September 1991, the 35th annual symposium in Las Vegas featured a two-day debrief on Navy and Marine Corps aviation in Operation Desert Storm. It was the largest such meeting yet held, with some 4,000 attendees: active, reserve, and retired personnel.

According to a Department of Defense report, 83 women and 7 men stated that they had been victims of assault and sexual harassment during the meeting.

Well, if this is the overpriced holiday of your dreams, why not go to Disney outside Paris? (France, not Texas) Get the passports, book the flights, and just go. And if "Sir" can't afford that, tell him to get off his ass and work harder. [:D]

Disneyland Paris is great, I am a happy addict with an annual passport, but I do not think it really trumps Disney World. Just comparing the sheer size and the amount of attractions, as well as the variety of different themed "sub-parks" you find in Florida.

I hope you will have oodles of fun on your trip, it is incidentially the redicuolus expensive holiday of my dreams, too.

According to your link, first paragraph....

"Sometimes it's downright frustrating to be Carl Hiaasen. The best-selling author and award-winning reporter longs to be eternally banned from Disney World in Orlando -- or Disney, anywhere -- but the folks behind Mickey Mouse are just so darn nice and good and wholesome, they won't give him the pleasure. "

My intention was to link to an article about his book which would give a synopsis of it.I scanned the article, and it seemed to serve my purpose. I have read the book and am familiar with the Disney banning of Hiassen after it's publication as well as his wife and kids being turned away at the gate  after publication of said book. In fact, I know Carl and his wife, they were clients of mine when I lived in the Keys.

So, mea culpa for linking to an article that , in fact, did not serve my pupose. Do your own research, if it is so important to you, or take my word for it. I couldn't care less. M'kay ?

I hear from watching Eddy Izard that the castle in Disney Paris is much bigger than the ones here.  Is that one of those humorous but true things?

kittinSol -> RE: Disney World (6/12/2008 2:16:56 PM)

Who cares whether it's true or not, if Eddie makes us laugh alluding to it [:)] ?
