We are new to message boards. The few times that I have posted I noticed that others had photos that were different then the one on their profile photos and everyone seems to have an icons of either paddles, cuffs, bdsm symbol, etc...Under their name.

How do I place a different photo and get an Icon with my postings?

How do I create a signature that appears with every posting I make?

In the upper right of the forum you should see a link that says "My profile"...click on that. Then fill in the info. There is a section for avatars. I would suggest you choose one of the approved avatars, since the site is being careful, of necessity, regarding the avatars. With the 2257 bill, everyone is trying to be extra careful.
There is also a section where you can fill in your custom signature which will then appear, if you wish, after each post you make.
Your icon changes with the number of posts you make. You already have one, and it will continue to change as you make more posts. That is an automatic function.

Click on "My profile", in the upper right corner. For the icon, post more.
