Gotta love chia's posts that's for sure LOL.
For the OP, i have yet to have a Dominant treat me in a rude fashion here. I've spoke with several, and they've all been very sweet, caring people, so i'm thinking you're either writing the wrong ones, or what you're writing to them is the problem.
All of the Ladies i've been chatting with back and forth here i have not messaged them first, i truly am a bit of a bashful person. They've messaged me generally because of my posts here on the boards. And i would like to think i'm building some great friendships here. Will any of them ever become the Domina i've been waiting for? I haven't a clue, that's for the universe to decide. I just show up, write what i feel, be respectful and friendly to people here, and let the rest take care of itself. I love the line in the movie Hitch "They want to see all of you, just not all at once" or something like that. i try to not write huge essays when replying, but i try to answer their questions, and i actually try to ask some of my own, because i want to know them as much as they would like to get to know me.
i wish you luck in your search brother.

Peace and serenity to you,
the bashful one

I have noticed lately some people believe being an asshole means being dominant. I try not to interact with those people it’s a waste of time. I see it more and more on profiles. Its one thing to sound mean in a sexy way or to directly spell out what you are NOT interested in. yet I see a lot of rude nasty ways of telling people what the so called Dominant wants people to know. Which in most cases this that they are an asshole by the method in which they do things? Yes there are a lot of whiners but there are also a lot of rude nasty people as of late.
So yes Virginia there are Rude Doms (or people that think are being dominant) And in the end they will reap what they sow.just ignore them and move on

You ask why---
First, Dommes get emails right and left. In my experience, a lot of those emails are....well, I pretty much know what the sender was doing while he typed. And frankly, that's assuming I can even understand what the guy was trying to say. It often seems that the hand action put a halt to the brain action.

Second, in my experience, some subs seem to think that becase they are interested and take the time to email, the Domme just has to be interested too. I have in the past tried to be "nice" about letting some guys down (I am NOT interested in married men, and am clear about that), an in response I get junk like, "Oh, but I love you, let me serve you. I'm miserable without you, I need to serve you. You're not being fair, you're not be nice, you should make time for me." Eeeeeek!

And, finally, time---its very hard to find time to respond to a bunch of emails....and tend to other areas of online life....and family life....work life....friend life....pet life....animal life (ok, so I like spending time with Secondar :) ).

What she said [sm=agree.gif]

Sometimes, life gets in the way and then the person gets buried in the in box.  If you're REALLY interested, then send a quick, polite email asking if the Lady in question is still interested.   If she isn't, then move on.
