It is possible to look at a profile without it showing up as viewed. Unless someone opens the entire profile, it wont show. If you just come up on the top of their list when they refresh the page, you dont get a hit.
With an attitude like that, they might be glad you wont reply.

You do know you can read the profile without actually 'viewing' it right? On the main screen?

Well... Perhaps the reasons why you keep getting messages from people who do not appear in the "who's viewing me" is because they are simply messaging you from the main search returns or they arent reading the profiles to begin with just taking a shotgun approach to sending out messages.

However, if they are going to hide behind the bushes while they perve on you, you are well within your perogative not to reply. Sometimes, they don't deserve a reply. You would be astonished at how many have an exceedingly poor command of the English language... Dom males contacting other dom males, gays contacting straights, men chasing lesibans who say "no men", rambling incoherent babble thats practically indecipherable... You're not missing much at times.

i hate freecylce.  i post items- people SAY they will show up- then never come. setting it [matress out on street w free sign works better]

I was on freecycle for a while and got annoyed by the volume of junk people were trying to get rid of, I took myself off the list because of the volume of emails.

local charities have gotten picky... very. tho some were usi ng it as a garbage service.  [$3.50 per bag]

Not all charities have space to store discarded items.
Goodwill will usually take almost everything.
