Yeah, but it's a stupidity thread, and it quite clearly states on page 236 of the DMG volume III that, and I quote: "A random insanity event is incurable and cannot be ended by anything short of direct intervention by a deity of at least Intermediate power."

After careful consideration, I've decided that this rule on random insanity can be applied to random stupidity.
