I've blogged for quite some time at ALT and I'm satisfied overall with that portion of the site.
In fact, the blog feature there has led me to more R/T contacts than the actual site has! The site is *very* restrictive overall to non-paying members but the blog area actually is pretty open and can give you a much fuller appreciation of who the poster is than a thumbnail profile pic, which is all the average free member gets to see, ever will.
Any/all members can access the blogs, as well as non-members if you choose to let them. You can post pics, talk about yourself all you want, and the bloggers there run the gamut in terms of subject matter.
